Bavaria I greet you from the sky. What a weird feeling to fly over the strip of land that I was born in and knowing that I am starting a complete different journey than ever before. This time it is not only a departure to go back to NZ. I will stop over in Thailand, Malaysia and Uganda.
Finally I arrived in Phuket. Wow it's late afternoon and I will try to acclimatize myself to the hot muggy air. Great hotel. lot's of local shops and beach bars, restaurants and a wonderful beach. Might jump in for a quick cooling.
Enjoying the last night by myself in the room and look forward to diving into the pool infront of my room!

Thank you again to all of you in Germany who made my time so pleasant and special. I had such a special farewell being invited to go hiking on my last day in Bavaria. What a great time we had walking up and down the mountain and enjoying the very special BROTZEITPLATTN'.

It was hard to say goodbye, especially to my friends and this special person of mine. I will come back soon, well and most likely ready to keep get my bum on ground and settle.
I did not know that Air Berlin flies overseas as well, but definitely it was funny when they asked for Euro 3 for headphones! Finally I arrived in Phuket.
